Vacation Bible School 2017

June 19-23— Friday 9 am -Noon   for ages 4– rising 6th grade.

Children’s Summer Sunday school/ Small Group plans

Regular Sunday school ends Sunday June 4- As the School year teachers take the summer off.

Sunday June 10- All children will attend the 9:45 worship with a special Vacation Bible school Friends – Childrens Moment.

Sunday June 18- All children will meet in room 205- Vacation Bible school intro- and activities with helping to make VBS props.

Sunday June 25- All children will attend the 9:45 Worship to sing VBS song with Super Hero Shimer! Wear your VBS tee shirts!

Sunday July 2- August 6- Children Summer Series- Room 205 ages K- 5th. A study on – ReNew – Kids learn about Jesus , exploring Gods word , singing, and celebrating centered on the stewardship of creation.

Fall Promotion Sunday will be August 20.

Curriculum: Cokesbury’s “Deep Blue” On a deep blue adventure through the Bible. Children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!

KINDERGARTEN & 1ST GRADE

Room 209 Leader: Shelley Lewis
Curriculum: Cokesbury’s “Deep Blue” On a deep blue adventure through the Bible.
Children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!

SECOND GRADE

Room 211 Leaders: Sandy Sowder,  Helper: Ray Woodrum
Curriculum: Cokesbury’s “Deep Blue” On a deep blue adventure through the Bible.
Children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!

THIRD GRADE

Room 203 Leader: Carla Reese
Curriculum: “Learning to Read the Bible” is a foundational study on learning to read the Bible. Students use NRSV Bibles.

FOURTH & FIFTH GRADE

Room 205 Leader: Jeanette Wenzinger
Curriculum: Bible Stories and “Connect” Where Tweens- experience the bible stories and life with God!
Connect helps preteens uncover major Biblical themes and discover how the Bible relates to their own lives.

SMALL GROUPS (SUNDAY NIGHTS)

Sunday Evening Children’s Group
All children ages 4 years old through 5th grade are welcome!
Meet at 6:00 pm for Children’s Hour of Mission – “Good Faithful Servants” Snacks are provided.
At 6:45 pm, all children should be picked up unless they are participating in Children’s Choir.

The mission of the Braddock Street United Methodist Early Learning Center is to provide a safe, secure, loving and stimulating Christian environment for all children.

BRADDOCK STREET WEEKDAY PRE-SCHOOL
Our preschool is dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate Christian environment for all children. Each child is individually nurtured in all domains of development in preparation for future educational success. We offer classes for children ages two through five (those who miss the kindergarten deadline) and the hours are 9:00 – 1:00 with lunch (brought from home) served prior to dismissal. If you decide to enroll your child, please complete the registration form and return it with a nonrefundable $50.00 registration fee. JONAH’S CLUBHOUSE

Jonah’s Clubhouse provides a safe and loving afterschool care in a Christian environment. It works with children grades K-4 from the Winchester Community Schools. The group meets Monday through Friday when school is in session.  Contact Jessica Shores
