Fresh Expressions United Methodist is a distinctly Wesleyan Spirit-led movement of new Christian communities that serve the present age. We cultivate communities of love and grace for people neglected by the church. The four values of these new faith communities are inclusive, accessible, transformative, and connectional. 


Fresh Expressions are a new way of doing church that focus on taking the love of God outside of our walls and into the community. The goal is to build relationships with people who probably wouldn't wander into our congregation on a Sunday morning and to embody Christ for them while meeting them where they are.

  • The Dice-sciples are a small group and fresh expression of ministry hosted by Braddock Street. We meet in the community to play board games and the game Dungeons & Dragons.


    Meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, usually at Winchester Brew Works. We strive to provide a space that is fully inclusive, safe, and welcoming for all people. All ages and abilities are welcome and we love to teach new people how to play! Our goals are to get to know our neighbors and build relationships by sharing God's love with everyone that we meet.   • Camping in Creation is an outdoor/hiking ministry which meets monthly for an outdoor activity and a devotional. All are welcome, seasoned and new to outdoor hiking/backpacking activities. Join our Facebook Group for more information.

  • We are currently developing a Crafting Group. We plan to have monthly meetings in a makers space to learn and create different crafts, and showcase artwork in a fun and welcoming environment.
