What we Do:

Here is a sampling of our weekly programs and annual events:

  • BLAST

    Sunday Evening from 6:00 - 7:45pm

On Sunday nights we gather for a meal, fellowship, game/activity, a lesson, and small group discussion. The topics and lesson series change throughout the year. We occasionally have some special events or happenings that may change our schedule, Hope you can join us soon!

  • High School Breakfast Club

Wednesdays during the school year from 6:30 -7:30AM

Join us Wednesdays mornings during the school year at Chick-Fil-A (Pleasant Valley Ave) for some great food and devotion each week as we come together and share our glads, sads, and sorrys. Youth also take turns leading a devotion for the group. Let someone know if you ever need a ride and we will work to make it happen!

  • Confirmation Class

Our confirmation class is for youth wishing to learn more about their faith and claim it for their own. At the completion of the class youth will become full members of the church and have a deeper understanding of their faith and their church.

  • Winchester Mission Week

Each Summer our youth have the opportunity to serve locally as we gather for a week of mission work in our hometown. We meet from 8am to 8 pm each day and serve a different local mission or two, share meals together and a fun evening activity. This is a great introduction to mission work and helps youth become familiar with local ministries the church is already partnered with. Previous locations we've served have been CCAP, Our Health, The Winchester Rescue Mission, The Evans Home, The Laurel Center, and others. We also help our children's ministry prepare for VBS and spend some time making improvements to our own church facility.

  • Chocolate Festival

The Saturday before Valentine's is always a special day! Our youth, and entire church work to raise money for Youth Missions by hosting our annual Chocolate Festival. With a cake walk, bake sale, chocolate fountain, and silent auction.  It is a great day to raise money for a great cause and share the love of chocolate like the love of Jesus!

  • See You at the Pole

Each September, we join with other area youth to gather at our local schools to pray for one another, our schools, our community, and our country as a public display of unity.

  • Winter Retreat

On Martin Luther King Weekend each January, we take some time away to regroup and center ourselves for the year ahead. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for a memorable and refreshing weekend!

  • Youth Sunday

Each year, our youth will help to plan and lead all aspects of our Sunday Morning Worship. This is always a wonderful celebration of our youth not being the church of tomorrow, but the church of TODAY!
